Activated carbon carbonization furnace (carbonization machine) is a device that decomposes coconut shell by heat to produce high carbon content materials under the condition of isolating air or introducing trace gas.
The working principle of the continuous activated carbon carbonization furnace mainly includes raw material pretreatment, carbonization reaction, activation treatment and subsequent treatment.
1. Raw material pretreatment: The raw materials (such as wood chips, coconut shells, coal, etc.) are crushed, screened, etc. to meet the requirements of the carbonization process.
2. Carbonization reaction: In the continuous carbonization furnace, the raw materials are isolated from the air at high temperature for carbonization reaction to generate carbides.
3. Activation treatment: The carbides are activated to increase their pore structure and specific surface area by physical or chemical methods, thereby improving the adsorption performance of activated carbon.
4. Subsequent treatment: The activated activated carbon is crushed, screened, washed, etc. to remove impurities and incompletely carbonized substances to obtain finished activated carbon.
